Territory Manager SW Ontario Region
We have an immediate opening in the SW Ontario Region for a Territory Manager to join our sales team. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing an account base of pet specialty retailers in your assigned geographic area of SW Ontario with approximately 25% overnight travel.
- Delivering results against set sales and placement quotas
- Reporting on sales activities
- Implementing promotional sales including national promotions and new products
- Conducting product seminars, attend trade shows, dog/cat shows and other events with occasional weekend work
This position is ideally suited for an individual who has excellent verbal & written communication skills, a strong customer focus and is detail oriented & organized. Other requirements include:
- A successful sales track record of 2-5 years experience in outside sales, (preferably in the pet industry) with the ability to establish & build strong relationships
- BS degree or equivalent experience
- Being self directed, flexible and work independently
- Computer proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CMS tools
- Bilingual English/French is a plus

Associate Marketing Manager, Key Accounts
We are seeking an Associate Marketing Manager of Key Accounts to join our team as we take the company to the next level of growth. Reporting to the Key Account Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for supporting and contributing to the development and management of national and key account marketing programs and initiatives. An ideal candidate has consumer products marketing experience with an aptitude for strategic thinking and creative development. To be successful in this fast paced dynamic environment, you must be a self starter, have a strong sense of urgency, and enjoy working both independently and as a team player to manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with the sales team to develop and execute key account marketing programs to maximize growth opportunities; support development of program initiatives, budgets and post event analysis
- Manage the development and execution of key account activities with both internal and external partners, including consumer promotions, in-store flyers, direct mail, e-mail programs, displays, merchandising, events, trade shows, and social media applications
- Work with sales analysts to capture and review POS data and Consumer data to identify actionable opportunities
- Develop presentations and analyses for business reviews, new product introductions and retailer programs
- Create effective graphics and brand copy to support account activities
This position is ideally suited for an individual who has a successful track record in creating innovative marketing programs for premium branded products.
Other requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline, with a minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience in a consumer products environment; must have experience working closely with sales teams in developing and launching marketing programs
- Analytical and comfortable with statistical analysis as this role entails heavy forecast and sell-through analysis
- Graphic design experience preferred
- Strong project management skills to meet dead lines, establish clear priorities and bring projects to completion on time and within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to make persuasive presentations to key accounts and all levels of management
- Related industry experience and exposure to category management a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to travel as needed – estimated travel time 25+%

Data Warehouse Architect
We are currently recruiting for a Data Warehouse Architect. In this position you will report to the Director of IT and be responsible for leading data warehouse and BI platform development. The position requires at least 12 years experience in designing and architecting Microsoft data warehouse and reporting solutions (SSAS, SSRS). The candidate should also have experience working in Oracle environments and must possess excellent communication and analytic skills. The position will include the following responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, testing of data warehouse and data marts using Kimball Star, Inmon methodologies
- Ensure data architecture supports existing and future business requirements
- Interface with functional business units to analyze & gather business requirements
- Understand and analyze existing ODS in OLTP design
- Evaluate and assist selection of data warehouse, reporting and BI tools
- Create and enforce standards for data warehouse design and data integrity
- Develop and support system integrations and ETL processes in Oracle and SQLServer
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot reporting using Business Objects, Microsoft Reporting Services, and other BI tools
- Prepare documentation & flow charts of business processes and database structures
- Support administration of existing ERP,CRM and EDI systems
- Work with network services team to ensure back-up and recovery of data
